Hi I am trying to create a messenger inside my webpage, so I am trying to make an ActiveX control in c# which uses DotMsn library as a refference. I created a class library with a user control in c# and added buttons and textboxes to this control. I also added an html object tag in the html file. To embedd my activeX control. I placed the html file and my ActiveX dll and DotMsn dll in an IIS directory. However I dont seem to be able to create an instance of DotMsn messenger in my ActiveX project, it compiles fine but it doesnt work at runtime. I would appreaciate any help in this issue. On the other hand when i create the activeX dll and use it directly in JavaScript with the new ActiveXObject function, i am able to use DotMsn, but i dont want to do this because i would like my control to be visible in the browser and use it as my GUI. And i want to code in C# not javascript.
Thnx

This article presents a .NET geographical mapping solution that will illustrate a fairly simple way of implementing these maps.
