I installed visual studio 2008 sp1 and I have a problem with IIS + Internet Explorer.My configuration: Windows Server 2003 Enterprise SP2 IIS 6 Internet Explorer 7 VS Team System 2008 SP1 If I want use IIS with IE (for example: localhost:9525/default.aspx) I can’t do it. I have to change localhost with my box name: boxname:9525/default.aspx Interesting, with Firefox I can use localhost name. To avoid getting this error, you should go to IE\Tools\Internet Options, select the Connections tab, LAN Settings at the bottom of the window, and make sure that every option is unticked (Automatically detect settings, etc.) |
